With AI becoming more and more embedded in every organisation’s internal and external practices, it’s just a matter of time before we see class action suits being filed against organisations challenging the fairness of algorithms used by them.


Regulatory intervention also seems inevitable, in this context.


Management would be well advised to pre-empt such action by identifying areas of vulnerability within the organisation and critically analysing the basis for assumptions made while at the same time addressing any shortcomings in their algorithms.
